Sarah Beddington, MPH, has experience in community planning, environmental sciences, and public health, specializing in public outreach and engagement. Sarah enjoys her work with Georgia Commute Options program, which encourages people in the Metro Atlanta region to commute more sustainably. Sarah spends her weekends cheering on her sons at their baseball and basketball games.

Bryanna recently graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Finance and Economics. She is responsible for invoicing and collections as well as assisting with daily bookkeeping activities.

Ansley Belton, AICP, is a Community Planner with experience in community planning. She is driven by a passion for improving communities through an equitable approach to planning and engagement. Ansley works in a variety of planning contexts, including land use plans, housing policy, roadway safety initiatives, transit plans, and sustainability plans. Outside of work, Ansley enjoys playing tennis all around the metro Atlanta area.

Gabe Branch has experience working with state and local government clients, specializing in mapping and dashboard creation for public use. His background as an Asset Management Technician at Forsyth County, combined with his skills in Cityworks, data analytics, and scripting, enables him to effectively address the challenges faced by local water and wasterwater utilities. In his time away from work, Gabe enjoys cooking and gardening.

With over 20 years of experience in B2B marketing, Heather leads efforts to build relationships and expand market presence. Known for fostering teamwork and empowering staff to achieve shared goals, she thrives on collaboration and solving complex challenges. When not at work, Heather relaxes by introverting - usually by reading and hiking with her family.

Rose Degner is an environmental engineer specializing in water resources and environmental compliance. She brings experience in stormwater MS4 permitting, grants management under the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act, and water and wastewater infrastructure design to the Blue Cypress Utilities Management Services team.  In her free time, she enjoys hiking and backpacking through the Blue Ridge Mountains with her dog, Murdock.

Caroline Evans, AICP, founded Blue Cypress Consulting in 2013 with a mission to enhance community development. Her professional experience includes community planning, land use analysis, and stakeholder outreach, as well as strategic development of Blue Cypress. Caroline is a lifelong bookworm and would always love to have a conversation about what you are currently reading.​​​​​​

John Evans, PE, brings experience in asset management, operational optimization, and information management and has supported over 50 public utilities across the U.S. with over 65,000 miles of linear assets.  John’s passion is to help his clients solve their toughest problems.  To help facilitate mutual success, John “speaks the language” of management, engineering, O&M, and IT.

Eric Freedman has experience serving utilities as a consultant and project manager. Eric has led dashboard and metrics programs, asset management plan development, operational optimization strategies, and Computerized Maintenance Management Software implementations for water, wastewater, stormwater, public works, and airport clients. When he is not at work, Eric is generally outside hiking or canoeing.

Vida Ghodsi Zadeh has more than 10 years of experience supporting environmental consulting, technical analysis, GIS applications, field investigations, environmental monitoring, data management, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Her background combines environmental science, climate and air quality research, spatial analysis, and data-driven decision making. Outside of work, Vida and her family are always up for an adventure, whether that means hiking, camping, biking together, exploring a new place, trying new food, or gathering people around a home-cooked meal.

Amanda Hatton, AICP, is a seasoned community planner and project manager with experience working in land use and transportation planning. She manages Blue Cypress’ Community Planning group and provides leadership and guidance to the team’s diverse planning projects. She enjoys puzzling, yoga, and spending time with her kids to clear her mind at the end of a busy day.​​​

Jade Henry is a utility management analyst with over three years of experience in CMMS implementation, data analysis, and asset management within the Utility Management Services division. Jade is proficient in Tableau, ArcGIS Pro, SQL, and PowerBI. She is skilled in developing systemwide risk analyses and conducting CMMS implementation trainings. Outside of work, Jade enjoys going to her local library and visiting her local park.​​​​​

King is a Utility Management Analyst II in the Utility Management Service (UMS) division, specializing in data analytics, dashboard design, and Power BI reporting to optimize utility operations. King brings prior experience from roles in wastewater treatment expansion projects, water sampling fieldwork, and field engineering/project management in solar. He is skilled in conducting reimbursement reviews and developing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, baking, and staying active through the gym and hiking adventures when traveling.

Anna is a community planner with experience working in a wide range of different planning roles has given her a comprehensive understanding of the communities she serves through her work. Anna's experience spans multiple planning sectors including community planning, urban design, zoning, and transportation planning. She is also skilled at managing and implementing stakeholder and community engagement strategies. Through her work, Anna strives to make  communities more accessible, people-oriented, and vibrant.  Anna enjoys exploring the city with her family.

Kyle brings more than 10 years of professional experience, including a strong background with Asset Management Systems. He is also Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. In his free time, Kyle enjoys playing soccer and training goalkeepers at all levels, from entry level to college.

With over 5 years of experience working for a woman-owned small business in the A/E/C industry, Monica assists with proposal development, fostering client relations, and internal marketing activities. She provides graphic design support to client projects including website design, promotional materials, and social media content utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Monica enjoys running on Atlanta's Beltline trail and visiting her local farmers market!

Sanica is knowledgeable, well-rounded, and dependable with a focus on climate adaptation, equitable planning, and intentional design. She brings a blend of technical expertise
and holistic thinking to every project she undertakes, having a strong foundation in GIS, sustainability efforts, and experience in the public sector. By combining data-driven insights with a deep understanding of human-centered planning, she aims to contribute to resilient, adaptable, and just urban environments.

Michael McNitt is a Senior Utility Coordination Consultant specializing in utility coordination and risk management for Georgia DOT’s P3 Division. With over 10 years of experience in construction inspection and supervision, he excels in identifying and mitigating risks related to utility impacts, improving project schedules and budgets. Michael specializes in delivering projects from concept through construction, ensuring successful outcomes through strategic planning, and effective utility coordination.

Fattaneh Naderi, PE, has a background in chemical engineering, specializing in water and wastewater systems. She has supported a variety of projects including CMOM assessment, CMMS selection/ optimization, I&I program assessment/implementation, water treatment evaluation, water and wastewater master planning, and water supply planning. Outside of work, Tanah loves making memories and having fun adventures with her two daughters.

With more than 30 years of leadership, operations, utility consulting, and asset management experience, Steff brings the expertise, vision, and collaborative leadership that will help guide the next chapter of our UMS practice. Having led consulting organizations, major utility initiatives, and organizational improvement efforts throughout her career, she is well-positioned to help Blue Cypress continue delivering exceptional value to our clients.

Maggie specializes in data analytics and dashboard development to enhance utility operations. She brings experience from her previous work with Georgia’s Ambient Air Monitoring Program, where she conducted data analysis to produce informative maps, dashboards, and visual reports. Outside of her professional role, Maggie enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends.

​Courtney is an urban planner with experience spanning city government, nonprofit development, and community-focused organizations. She supports planning and management efforts that strengthen neighborhoods and promote sustainable urban growth. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys exploring Atlanta's park and trail networks.

Aiya brings over five years of experience in administrative efficiencies, logistics and operations skills, and data analytics to Blue Cypress, along with proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and organizational processes. In her free time, she is a dedicated car-free bike commuter, passionate about helping better connect health, vibrant communities through city design and community building.

Vivek Sai brings over two decades years of engineering and consulting experience supporting municipal wastewater, water, and stormwater utilities. Vivek has deep technical expertise and proven leadership. His PMP and Institute of Asset Management certifications further strengthen our commitment to industry best practices.

Sean brings 20 years of experience, with the majority of his career at Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU), where he served as the Chief Finance and Data Officer. He joins us as our Pacific Northwest Utility Management Regional Director, supporting our growing Seattle office. We’re thrilled to have his leadership and expertise shaping our continued growth.

Eric Swett is a Senior Utility Management Consultant with over twenty years of experience as a water professional. He started his career at Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources in 2004 after graduating from Georgia Southern Universtiy with a BS in Biology. Eric continued his learning journey and received a Post Baculaureat Certificate in GIS Penn State University World Campus in 2011 and he completed the Masters Degree program in 2020.​

Melissa Ting is the Chief Operating Officer at Blue Cypress Consulting, overseeing daily operations and supporting all departments. Leveraging her MBA and her experience in architecture, she develops business strategy, enhances process efficiency, and promotes company culture. She's always looking for feedback from staff on ways to improve in order to keep Blue Cypress as a great place to work! When she's not working, she's baking goodies for the office, traveling to a new country, crocheting with her cats, or throwing axes at inanimate targets.

Tiffany Stone has been with Blue Cypress Consulting since 2018, bringing over seventeen years of experience in client relations, community event planning, and operational support. Her background in managing small businesses enhances her role in overseeing small business certifications, recruitment efforts, and quality assurance for project

deliverables.​​​​​​​​​

Leah is a Utility Management Analyst with over a year of experience in decision support systems, data analysis, SOP development, and workflow optimization. She is has experience using Cityworks, Central Square EAM, GIS, Excel, and Python. Leah's interests include water loss control, water metering, and asset management. She enjoys traveling and is currently learning Portuguese.​​​​​​

Emily’s experience working in the public sector gives her a technical background in long-range planning, zoning, and land use planning. Her background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) has allowed her to successfully integrated advanced mapping and data analysis tools into planning processes, enhancing decision-making for land use, infrastructure, and public policy projects. ​​In her free time, Emily loves taking her dog to Westside Reservoir Park and wandering through Atlanta's antique stores.

Tiffani provides our team with in-house accounting support including invoicing, project setup, project close out and more. Tiffani has experience with payroll, A/P, A/R, invoicing, audits and runs her own bookkeeping company to help small businesses. Outside of work, you can find Tiffani outside! She enjoys hiking, swimming, dancing, kickboxing, skating, and dining out.

Julia recently graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in Media and Entertainment. In her role as Marketing and Operations Coordinator, she supports our various accounting, operations, business development, and marketing initiatives. Her prior experience producing films and various multi-media projects helps her balance working in multiple departments within Blue Cypress. In her free time, Julia likes to watch movies, cheer on Atlanta United, and hang out with her cat, Duck.

Winter has a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Clemson and a Master of Science in Coastal, Marine, and Wetland studies from Coastal Carolina University. Winter brings experience working in R, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS StoryMaps, Power, and Excel. She has worked hard to receive several different certifications, including, but not limited to, Cartography, Spatial Data Science, and Teaching Yoga!
