Blue Cypress partnered with Clark County Water Reclamation District (CCWRD) to identify an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software to replace their existing software used to manage scheduled and reactive work throughout their collection system. To identify the functionality most important to CCWRD in a new EAM software, Blue Cypress reviewed current workflows, analyzed existing asset information, and interviewed staff across a variety of roles to identify core functionalities that are most important to staff, as well as recommendations for any new functionalities or modifications to business processes that would increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Blue Cypress Consulting assisted Seattle Public Utilities in creating an actionable data management plan for the long-term stewardship of data and corresponding data management systems impacting SPU operations, maintenance, and decision-making. The project resulted in a clear understanding of data management gaps today, documented opportunities for future enhancements, a vision and framework for future data management decisions, and an implementation plan to realize that vision.
Seattle Public Utilities CMOM Data Management Plan
To develop the gap assessment, Blue Cypress utilized a multi-pronged discovery process that included analyzing data, reviewing documents, and conducting staff interviews to paint a complete picture of current practices, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement. Blue Cypress received an amendment to continue support in 2025; this includes implementing new tools, processes and procedures for the pump station business group, through configuration of Cityworks templates, inboxes, and the Cityworks Mobile app, development of training materials such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow documentation, and facilitation of in-person training.
